We are proud to feature the inspiring journey of Ankit Gupta, AMPSSS alumnus (Batch of 2023), who secured All India Rank 245 in JEE Advanced 2024 and is currently pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science at IIT Delhi.

Early Years at AMPSSS

"My journey at AMPSSS began in Class VI. The school provided me with a strong foundation in academics and helped me discover my passion for mathematics and physics," recalls Ankit. "The teachers here don't just teach; they inspire you to think beyond textbooks."

Preparation Strategy

Ankit shares his preparation approach:

• Consistent Study: "I maintained a consistent study schedule of 6-7 hours daily, focusing more on understanding concepts than memorizing."
• NCERT First: "I ensured my NCERT concepts were crystal clear before moving to advanced problems."
• Problem Solving: "I solved problems from various sources - HC Verma, Irodov, and previous year JEE papers."
• Doubt Resolution: "I never slept with a doubt. My teachers at AMPSSS were always available to help."

Role of School

"AMPSSS played a crucial role in my success. The special JEE preparation classes, mock tests, and constant motivation from teachers kept me on track. The competitive environment among peers also pushed me to perform better," Ankit adds.

Message to Current Students

"To all my juniors at AMPSSS - believe in yourself and stay consistent. Success in JEE is not about being a genius; it's about disciplined preparation and never giving up. The resources and guidance you have at school are invaluable - make the most of them."

Future Plans

Ankit aims to pursue research in Artificial Intelligence after completing his B.Tech. He regularly visits AMPSSS to mentor current students preparing for competitive exams.
